Can I know exactly what is in the pallet before purchasing?

Most transactions made in this kind of industry are made ‘blind’ (i.e. a manifested list of exactly what the pallet and/or truckload contains is not provided).

Certain department stores often do provide a manifest when we purchase truckloads from them but more often then not, manifests are not available, or are only available with the truck once we receive it.

When it comes to pallet sales, the very large majority of pallets do not have a manifest and the only way we can provide one is by individually going through the pallet and manifesting each item inside – hence ourselves and others in this industry do not and cannot provide exact manifests.

What percentage of the products work?

The generally recognized industry average used when trying to estimate working % is as follows: 65%-75% working, 20% repairable, remainder scrap/spare parts/throwaway etc. Of course no individual load or pallet will have that exact breakdown, but generally speaking the latter percentages are fairly accurate to describe the average expected condition. See below if you are unsatisfied with the quality of an order.

Can I come in and inspect the pallets before purchase?

Yes, in most cases you can. In some rare cases or during a busy season, this may not be possible.

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping cost depends on the following:

(1) What type of pallet/listing you are purchasing

(2) How many pallets/listings you are purchasing

(3) Where we are delivering i.e. to a business or a residential address and whether you need a lift-gate or not.

What kind of shipping methods do you use?

We ship by major trucking lines, railroad and by ship for export to Alaska and Hawaii. We find that shipping bulk merchandise within the continental US through major trucking lines is the most time and cost effective.

What is the minimum and can I buy in smaller quantities?

Some minimums do apply on certain loads or pallet deals. However, we are very flexible and willing to offer you availabilities suited to your budget and warehouse space. Please let us know which lots or loads are of interest and we will look into supplying you at a comfortable solution.

Can I advertise brand names?

You may advertise branded goods as a marketing technique. However, any trademark names (department store names) are unauthorized to do so. An agreement of sale is enforced, as these are the conditions from department stores themselves.
